Soon after February's Great Freeze and Ice Storm, there was an Everbridge callout on Feb. 20 @ 1252 for a structure fire in Wimberley. Jim Gardner had the Wimberley Rehab Trailer on-scene @ 1355 and was joined by Jim MacDonald, JG Avila, Wayne Kamaura, and Susan Hald. By the time our CERT members arrived firefighters from North Hays, Wimberley, and Kyle FDs had the fire, in an old pole barn, largely out, but the team dispensed water, Gatorade, and snacks to them while they looked for and extinguished any hot spots.
